Description

Description : the wine is straw yellow with greenish hues; on the nose it has an enveloping bouquet with varietal hints of white flowers and herbaceous notes; on the palate it is deep, complex and of rare intensity with a marked aromatic freshness. The Company : Madrevite is the brainchild of Nicola Chiucchiurlotto, a young and pioneering winemaker who wants to focus on native vines (Gamay del Trasimeno and Grechetto above all, but also Montepulciano, Trebbiano spoletino, Syrah – Cortona is over the hill – and Sangiovese) vinified mostly in purity and almost all falling within the Trasimeno DOC. 11 hectares of vineyards out of a total of 60 - on the extreme western border of Umbria - where woods and arable land prevail on the shores of Lake Chiusi, a few kilometers from the Trasimeno lake basin.
