Presentation : Sangiovese expresses its character to the fullest, starting from the bright ruby ​​color and the unmistakable floral notes of violet accompanied by the scent of red fruits and raspberries. A powerful wine, which goes well with long aging. A wine with an extraordinary character and incredible aging capacity. dark ruby ​​​​bone, it is characterized by an olfactory profile of great intensity and complexity. Red fruit, spicy hints and notes reminiscent of leather and wild berries with a balsamic and slightly ethereal background. In the mouth it is full, long, structured and very balanced. A powerful taste, characterized by a very pleasant finish. The company : The company is spread over 60 hectares, all certified organic, of which 52 are a single vineyard on a wonderful hill, Miralduolo, located in the heart of Umbria between Perugia and Assisi in the famous wine area of ​​Torgiano, one of the first Italian DOCs (Torgiano DOC recognition obtained in 1968) and historic DOCG of our region, Torgiano Rosso Riserva recognition obtained in 1990. The Terre Margaritelli company was founded in 1950 by Fernando Margaritelli who, retiring from business at the age of 60, decided to start cultivating vines for his own pleasure to produce wine for himself and his entire family. This activity remains in fact only at the service of the family and as an expression of the Margaritelli family's passion for the land. From this first starting point, in 2000 Mr. Giuseppe, Fernando's son, just to honor his father's passion, decided to expand the property and give life to the Terre Margaritelli winery project. From here begins the replanting of the vineyard, the first vinifications and the transition to organic.
