Description

Presentation: “Gioele“ is named after Andrea Gioele who, in the Historiae Olivetanae by Secundo Lancillotto, donated the lands where the company is located to the Olivetan friars in 1389. Pale straw yellow in color. With a scent that recalls hints of hay and aromatic herbs. Fresh, savory, delicate, elegant simplicity. The Company: The Cenci family has been involved in viticulture for over four generations, continuing the work of cultivating vines in compliance with the characteristics of tradition and the typicality of the territory that belonged to the Olivetan friars. In the early 1950s Mario, an enlightened and innovative agricultural expert and Giovanni's grandfather, selected the Grechetto, Sangiovese and Malvasia clones from the vines married to the mulberry tree cultivated by the Olivetans, and planted the company's first vineyards. In 2012, after two years of renovation of the company farmhouse under the guidance of Mario Cenci, the new cellar was inaugurated under the guidance of Giovanni Cenci, a viticulturist, oenologist, food biotechnologist and sommelier.
