Description

Presentation : A wine that has established itself over time as a true ambassador of the taste, culture and green soul of Umbria. A return to the deepest origins and a tribute due to one of the most representative and characterizing vines of the Umbrian territory. The Greco di Renabianca interprets a classic in a new and “contemporary” version through careful and expert processing, but above all using a unique and precious raw material in addition to a short period in French oak barriques from the renowned Bertranges forest. The company : it extends over 60 hectares all certified organic, of which 52 are a single body vineyard on a wonderful hill, Miralduolo, located in the heart of Umbria between Perugia and Assisi in the famous wine area of Torgiano one of the first Italian DOC (Torgiano DOC recognition obtained in 1968) and historic DOCG of our region the Torgiano Rosso Riserva recognition obtained in 1990. The Terre Margaritelli company was founded in 1950 by Fernando Margaritelli who, retiring from entrepreneurial activity at the age of 60, decided to start cultivating vines for his own pleasure to produce wine for himself and for the whole family. This activity remains in fact only at the service of the family and as an expression of the Margaritelli family's passion for the land. From this first starting point, in 2000 Mr. Giuseppe, Fernando's son, just to honor his father's passion, decided to expand the property and give life to the Terre Margaritelli winery project. From here begins the replanting of the vineyard, the first vinifications and the transition to organic.
