Description

Description : intense ruby red; aromas of dried fruit and withered flowers, dry and powerful, cloves, dried plums and salt in the mouth; The Company : Collecapretta is first and foremost a mixed agricultural company with livestock (Azienda Agricola Mattioli Vittorio) that has lived and produced for three generations on the same lands protected by the Martani Mountains in the Spoleto countryside. The management method is natural, with the utmost respect for natural cycles and excluding the use of herbicides, pesticides and weed killers. The vineyards are traditional to the area - we are in the homeland of Trebbiano spoletino where we also find grechetto, ciliegiolo and sangiovese above all - with some extra-regional contributions that however respect what happened after the Second World War with the planting of vines such as barbera or merlot throughout the region. The company has about 50 hectares in total of which only 6 are vineyards.
