Presentation: it is dedicated to the founder of the company, Domenico Adanti. From the best selection of grapes coming exclusively from a CRU on the hills of Colcimino, it is intense ruby color with garnet hues. Intense aromatic range: cassis, tobacco, coffee and graphite. Warm, powerful, spicy, with velvety and balanced tannins, it is a wine of long persistence. It stays 30 months in wood and 24 months in bottle. It pairs with succulent dishes of long cooking.
The Company: was born in the 70s of the last century, from the intuition of Domenico Adanti, who decided to buy the villa in Arquata with the aim of creating a modern winery, aiming at producing high quality wine. Thus began, in 1972, the renovation of the old convent of the Celestine friars, built on Roman ruins first and then on late-Renaissance ones, carried out at the same time as the replanting of the old vineyards and the planting of new ones. The property in fact consisted of about 20 hectares of land, many of which were already cultivated with vineyards but abandoned by the previous owners.
