Description

Presentation : red wine with great structure and longevity. The classic green vegetal hints of Merlot are accompanied, thanks to the important maturation, by sweet notes of ripe red fruits but also of butter and cocoa and evolved spicy notes in which pepper and tobacco stand out. In the mouth it is full, velvety. The company : Fanini is located near Lake Trasimeno on the far western side of Umbria, where the geographical-landscape borders do not reflect the political-administrative ones at all. Umbria and Tuscany speak the same language: rolling hills cultivated mostly with vines and olives between Lake Trasimeno and the Crete Senesi. The company led by Francesca Fanini and her husband Marco Fornaciari da Passano includes, in addition to a hotel and olive groves, also eight hectares of vineyards, an important portion is Sangiovese, with which two white wines, a rosé and three red wines are produced.
